It's not like Hanifin and Lindholm aren't fine players......but Dougie Hamilton gets to play behind or with Slavin. He gets all the top PP usage no question now. He could have monster scoring seasons on Carolina. Even more than what he's had on Calgary. Slavin-Hamilton might be the best pair in the league 5v5.
And they get Fox, who if he signs is a top 4 talent RHD. Ferland is a fine add-in. I mean you can basically look at it as Fox+Ferland for Lindholm. Hanifin for Hamilton straight up. Hanifin could definitely still get to his potential, and he's a fine player, but dang, Carolina.
