Mellanby has credentials, but his credentials reek of typical hockey nepotism rather than real competence, and making him GM is a great way to expose that.

All these choices are dreadful. Who is running this process?

Mellanby should have been a Flyer for life. Still can't believe he got traded.

Let's be honest here - they need to be relocated to Quebec regardless of how bad their next hire is. This is very long overdue.

Shero didn't cover himself with glory when he wasn't gifted a prime situation in NJ, but I'd still take him over the rest.

Olczyk + Chiarelli sounds like an even bigger brain trust than Yeo + Therrien (+ Lappy)

Might want to hold that thought for a bit. I wasn’t crazy about the hiring of Yeo but the guy has done a heck of a job bringing along the defense. Especially with Sanheim and Myers.
