You're describing Ristolainen, except by some bizarre coincidence he's never been on a good team in an entire decade. Almost like good teams don't want him, or he's bad enough to drag a team down to being mediocre at best.

The Flyers don't need Ghost.

They need young, top 4 defensemen. They have plenty of guys who could play on the third pair for a good team.

Right now they have 1. York.

Provorov and Sanheim are unreliable, Risto still has a way to go to become a defense first top 4 D-man, and TDA is a more talented, and far more erratic version of Ghost.

Defense-first dmen in the Top 4 are obsolete. The DPE is over.

TDA is faster, more physical, has a better shot, and is as least as good as a PP QB.
