Yeah, I'm f***ing hate Perry, but there was nothing he could do there. He was skating at full tilt and Tavares got launched into his feet. He had no chance to avoid the collision.

f*** that is scary. Him falling over backwards is gonna stick with me for a long time. f***ing terrible.

Especially with the blood running down his face when he started falling backwards.

I don't think anybody could possibly be prepared for it. One second you're watching a game, next second you're seeing a guy get his brains scrambled into next week. I've seen all sorts of f***ed up sports injures and I'm shook by this.

I'm 33 this year. Nothing in the world makes me happier than playing hockey. But I won't lie when I say I am constantly concerned about something like this.

That was horrific to watch. I decided years ago that Crosby and Tavares were my least favorite players (a flattering hatred), and I can't stomach that. It is rough

Can't think of many scarier things I've seen in a hockey game. Only thing that comes to mind right off the bat was Neuvurth collapsing.

Clint Malarchuk nearly bled out on the ice when his throat got slashed by a skate back in the day.

I don’t think I’ve had a similar shudder since hearing Pronger’s screams skating off the ice. Zednik is the other one.

Yikes. Yeah, I'd not seen that before. That's ugly as hell. He was blatantly out by the time he hit the ice. At least the Flyers staff had the good sense not to move him around too much before getting him on the stretcher.

When the blood came out of his unconscious mouth right as it cut to commercial I spent the commercial break thinking he may have died. It was really scary. Has stuck with me since.
