Why should I root for McDavid? It’s not like he cured cancer or something. If I’m gonna root for a guy to win the Cup it’s gonna be Ghost. At least he plays for a team that I don’t despise and a coach who I loved as a player.

despite the Canes being a divisional rival I can't help but root for and respect that org. They really modernized their operations and it's paid off! Well run in the world of NHL teams.

Hope they get knocked out this round somehow. It’s a higher pick for the Flyers, but more importantly increases any chance that he does indeed hit UFA.
