The Caps didn't respond well to getting their ding dings kicked in and kept trying to start shit after whistles. Unlike most previous Canes teams, they didn't back down. Tom Wilson in particular was acting like a total caveman.

My beef has long been the idea that he doesn't try. He does! He tried hard under Hunter. He tried hard at defense under Trotz. Lavi? Skated his ass off on the weak side to hit those defensive duties even as his legs got elderly. It's just that he sucks at it. I struggle to buy the idea that he works to put himself in the right general areas just to not try once he's there. He's simply easy to beat.

I was a tad over a month old the last time the Flyers won the Cup. I'll be turning 50 in a few days.
I sadly don't think it's something I'll ever get to experience in my lifetime, which kinda sucks.
