NHL Talk Miscellaneous NHL Discussion CIX: Processing a Tremendous Amount of Insane Information

Well Rutherford did say that they only wanted to get the same position back and go from there.

Rutherford was talking to the media practically with a “Kick Me” sign on his back this week. Vancouver looks beyond exploitable, even for mediocre GMs.

But the fact of the matter is Briere has “Kick Me” tattooed to his forehead. There is not a team in this league he could take advantage of in a trade because the Flyers are that team. The Flyers even voice that they want both teams to win in a trade. Suckers.

Briere and Rutherford trading with each other to see who can get the least amount of value. It's like the invaluable force meets the unvaluable wall.

Rutherford was out there saying, “Return is gonna be shit. Ah, well. Nevertheless!”

Briere thinks he’s winning in his trades. He’s worried he’s winning too much and other GMs might stop taking his calls. Rest easy, Danny. Rest easy.

Fold them.

As a Canadian, our 4 small market teams are going to be in grave trouble....especially Winnipeg and Ottawa....and with our appalling dollar, I don't know how they are going to survive long term....while the Cap going up is good for us as Flyer fans , I see only trouble on the horizon for at least 4 Canadian teams.
