NHL Talk Miscellaneous NHL Discussion CIX: Processing a Tremendous Amount of Insane Information

McMichael and Miroshnichenko aren't options in the dropdown list. Miro's name is too long for the custom name box on the site. This might be sort of nitpicky but McMichael has the lower case letter in his name and it appears that way on the jersey too. Do you know if I entered McMICHAEL as the name, if they would actually make the "c" lower case on the jersey or just make it all upper case? I don't think I've ever actually customized a "Mc" jersey and if I'm dropping $250 on a jersey, I'd prefer if the name looks right.
My suggestion here would be to buy a blank and I can do some digging to figure out who does the on-ice jerseys for the Caps. I think it used to be EPS (Exclusive Pro Sports) and it still may be. I've been out of the jersey game lately.

If we're talking Fanatics/NHL shop here, nearly 100% they will not have the small C. I've noticed that you can't buy a Cooper DeJean Eagles jersey or a Jared McCain Sixers jersey for those reasons.

It'll take longer going through EPS or whoever they use but at the end of the day you'll get a MUCH better quality of customization.

Yessir, it's Fanatics. I checked the Caps' online team store too but it's powered by Fanatics (which I imagine most of them are). As for the likelihood of getting a lower case c, I sort of figured that would be the case, and I also sort of figured that's why he wasn't a dropdown option (neither is McIlrath from the same team- not that he'd be the most popular option, but I have at least two friends who WOULD be interested in one, lol). McDavid isn't an option for Oilers jerseys, but you can at least buy a precustomized jersey of him.

I listened to the 32 Thoughts podcast discussion of the rosters for the 4 nations thing, and I started wondering if we’ll see pressure from the US government to allow Russia to play in it, or to cancel the tournament if the other 3 countries refused to play against Russia.

I think the AHL site is drunk.

I listened while doing other things and didn’t catch that. What did I miss?

I doubt that would be on the radar.

Sure looks like Waddell got what he was trying to get based on the reporting.

We arent tanking for high end talent.

We arent trading for it when its available.

I guess we are culturaling it into existence?

Or keith jones just thinks we are gonna sign McDavid/Kaprizov/Eichel or Makar in 2026 bc he gets off on the idea that the best players wanna play here.

And when none of them actually make it to FA he will spend 100 mil on a hayes type player

Straddling the line, waiting for something to hit them in the face. That’s been the Flyers mo for like a decade now regardless of who’s in the GM spot.
