Sorry about the delay in polls! I've been pretty busy.

Marat Khusnutdinov wins the #7 spot on the list!

Who, in your opinion, is the Minnesota Wild's #8 prospect? Rank them based on whatever you see fit.

1. Marco Rossi (59.2%)
2. Matt Boldy (89.3%)
3. Jesper Wallstedt (53.8%)
4. Carson Lambos (63.4%)
5. Calen Addison (56.9%)
6. Ryan O’Rourke (57.8%)
7. Marat Khusnutdinov (70.2%)
8.

I'm wondering if the high percentage for Khushnuts represents a tier break in the prospects
Top: Rossi, Boldy
Middle: Wallstedt, Lambos, Addison, O'Rourke, Khusnutdinov
Bottom: TBD

I'd bet on 80+ saying Beckman here, so if that happens I'd say that's the tier break. Outside of the voting results so far, it seems Beckman would be a part of that middle tier anyway, moreso than the guys that are left.

That's probably about right. I feel like we are in the weird part where there could be a couple of tiers in rapid succession. Like, I think Hunt/Peart are a tier above Khovanov and probably two tiers above Johansson. Firstov is wildly (pun intended) under the radar as well. Put up a decent freshman year at Connecticut and then was nearly point per game in 13 games for his sophomore season. He did lay a goose egg for the WJC for team Russia though. Maybe:
Hunt/Peart
Khovanov/Firstov
Johansson/Jones/Nesterenko
Dewar

I had Beckman a little higher, but the fact that a guy who led the WHL in scoring his +1 year, and has legitimate top6 upside, is at #8 in our pool makes me feel pretty good.

wonder if hell be invited to camp this year
Russo keeps reporting weird stuff like saying, "Khovanov still has to decide whether he wants to stay in Russia to play", when he is under contract to MN. So he MUST play here if he is going to play, unless Guerin is fine with loaning him out again. That would not be a good sign, and would certainly mean that he wouldn't be in camp, as the Russian leagues start earlier than here.

At this point I just want to see him play well at the AHL level. I don't know what happened to him last year, but being demoted to the VHL doesn't fill me with confidence about his future.

Personally have high expectations for Peart, I know Beckman has scored like crazy everywhere but I really like Peart’s upside and think his combination of skating and iq will make him a strong contender for steal of the draft.

I think this is one of those tiers that needs this type of ranking:

S: Rossi, Boldy
A: Wallstedt, Lambos
B: Addison, O'Rourke, Khusnutdinov, Beckman, Khovanov
C: Hunt, Peart, Nesterenko, Firstov, Novak
D: Dewar, Jones, Future 2nd-round compensatory pick

I like this style. I'd do:

S: Rossi, Boldy
A: Lambos, Wallstedt
B: O'Rourke, Addison, Beckman, Khusnutdinov
C: Firstov, Hunt, Khovanov, Peart, Jones
D: Dewar, Nesterenko, Novak, Johansson

I guess I see "S" - tier prospects as guys who are likely to be high-end first-liners. Don't know if I see any in the system, no offense to Rossi and Boldy. Think it's possible for them to achieve that, but they are likely acceptable first-liners or really good second-liners, that's an A to me.
S: NONE
A:Rossi, Boldy
B: Wallstedt, Lambos, O'Rourke, Addison
C: Beckman, Khusnutdinov, Nesterenko, Firstov, Hunt, Peart, Jones
D: Johansson, Khovanov, Dewar, Novak
