I didn't want to clog up the mid season player grade thread with talk about the coaching, but how do you guys think Hynes is doing this year?
I think he's doing a very good job. Not easy with all the injuries, but he's trying out different things and is not as stubborn as the former guy.

I didn't mind Dean, but I think he's been an upgrade. Having a full training camp I think helped get them off to a better start this year. The injuries have been frustrating, but every team has them I guess.

I guess if we make the playoffs we will see if he can make changes on the fly better than Deano.

He's been a HUGE upgrade from Deano, but this PK situation is maddening

I miss Bruce and I think he was a great coach. I believe his deference to the vets was driven top down. Evason was garbage and Hynes is garbage.

Absolutely have to give Hynes credit. Coaching is all about building confidence and having your players buy into what you are preaching. The Wild are a prime example of a well coached team. Even the PK has picked it up lately. With all the bodies missing it is even more important to execute a game plan well. The Wild are almost impeccable in doing that each game. That’s a sign of the team buying into the coach’s ideas. Solid A for Hynes and his team.
