Not the worst thing for UrGrin, and completely normal. Perhaps an object lesson for those(like me) who were bitter about Yurov staying in Russia for another year. Getting into, and making a permanent home in the NHL immediately in your D+3 year is not usual. Only 11 other 2022 draftees have had more NHL GP's than Ohgrehnn. Of those, Korchinski, Wright, Poitras, and Jiricek have also had their struggles, and been demoted.

Yurov is better than all of the guys listed in this post and played in a better league (KHL vs juniors vs Czech league). I fully believe he would have established himself this year.

Not a minnesota fan but wondering why the hell is Yakov Trenin not on your penalty kill?
He is slow and we have quite a few strong defensive players with speed, they are trying a more aggressive PK after years of massive under-performance when shorthanded. He is in the rotation but not a top pick for the kill.

JEE. Lauko, Khusnutdinov, Gaudreau are the main guys, then he is in with the next batch of Foligno, Boldy, Trenin.

Foligno is just a better version of him based on what we have seen, and Boldy is also excellent defensively and just learning the PK so likely will get more and more time throughout the season.
