Stop making bad proposals. Minnesota isn't trading a 2nd round pick / prospect for a 8th d at best who won't play on our team
You can call it bad. Calling him an 8th D is dumb though. Thank goodness I won't have to see your posts again.

rule was changed in new CBA. You can’t attach triggers on resigning or trading again.

can only do player performance or team performance triggers.

with Buffalo trades of Ristolainen and Reinhart would have likeky had resigning triggers in the deals. Since that wasnt allowed it affected trade structures.
Gotcha, makes sense I guess. Thanks for the clarification.

Thank goodness trolling Montreal fans like yourself don't give a damn about other teams strength or needs. He would be a 8th d in Minnesota just like Lehkonen would be a 4th liber in Minnesota. It's not that hard to do some simple research about wild, and see two of the position they are stacked at is Winger and d. He would be an 8th d in Minnesota.

Yeah, I agree. I mean, Peart isn't an NHL-caliber, established player.
Minnesota just selected Minnesota born d prospect jack peart in 2nd round last draft. Brett wouldn't play in Minnesota. So with all due respect, this is extremely one sided in Montreal favor

Then, it wouldn't make sense for Montreal to get Peart, since Minnesota just drafted him. Yeah, this one's a no-go.

Appreciate the effort, but I think the Wild say no.

They’ve commented recently about how much they like how Peart is trending. I could see him making the NHL in ~2 years.
