Brodin is close to coming back. Middleton was just placed on LTIR and is having surgery today.

Literally the LAST team in the waiver wire order picked him up. 31 teams passed on this plug. And ONLY cause the Oilers broke a Minnesota defenders hand in a freak incident last night.

I’m fine with the prediction I made. In fact I’m the 1st reply on this thread to say I was wrong, so what’s with the gotcha? If you were so confident, you would have made that bet, nice hindsight 20/20 attempt though.

I think he can fill in on the left side for a team with injuries. He didn't really add anything to the Oilers but he also played mostly when the team was not doing well. The Oilers were likely hoping to use him on the left side in the minors, I think I read they are badly lacking left shot d-men in the minors.
