Found our Foligno replacement.

I'm actually looking forward to seeing where the goalie situation ends up next year. I believe this either means he platoons with Hunter Jones in Iowa next year and Wallstedt makes the Wild, or Hunter Jones isn't being re-signed. It does seem possible that they re-sign Jones and just keep him in the ECHL forever, but I can't imagine he wants that.

In his defense, Plzen was the third worst team in the Czech Extraliga.

Will he join Iowa on a PTO or just join Slovakia for the World Championships?

Played for Slovakia in both the Olympics and the World Championships but is now at the end of his two-year ELC.

With both NHL goalies signed. Mercer and Wutske on ELC's and Rousseau signed to an AHL contract, is there still room for Hlavaj in the Wild system?

Been rumored to be on the move for a while in look of a NHL role, though nothing set in stone as there could still be movement among Gus or Wally, hampered by Gus getting surgery to miss the season start. I think the most likely scenario is he signs elsewhere and tries for a backup role, but certainly some decisions to be made by the Wild FO that could open a path for him.

I would've said that he would be moving on, but with Gus's surgery and the possibility that Wallstedt might be moved in a big trade, there is a possibility the he is re-signed. Hlavaj will need to be convinced, too. Iowa is a terrible team that makes goalies look worse than they are. Just look at Wallstedt's AHL stats.

MN is shooting itself in the foot with the development graveyard that is Des Moines.

Sounds Devils-esque.
