I'd rather see Cuylle with Mika and Kreider than another game of Kakko just being there. He'll be back in Finland in a few years. Hes a player that is better on the larger ice surface. His play is proving that. Please go back to Europe after his contract is up.

Vally looks like he's about to burst his jugular

Truth be told that could have been 10 to 4 Wild - Quick stood on his head and we blocked 30 shots. We were on our heels the minute they got those power plays in the first period.

This is a concern here not the loss, but it’s the way we got exposed. I said before the season started the Rangers do not have any players that push the play deep in the zone

That’s why Iavilollette is gonna try to win the game, playing a shell every night.
But that leads to lack of possession.

Writing off the next 9 games (Fox Chytil et al)

BUT

I fully expect this team to drop into third place at best.

Remember what they say about Thanksgiving standings.

Lav-o must make his presence known.

Trade deadline once again will dictate all.
Reilly Smith anyone?

Can't single anyone out after that but Schneider isn't good at anything.

The last vestige of near-league-worst drafting from Gordon.

I wonder if they had kept him in the AHL longer whether he might have been able to be a 3rd pairing solution.

But perhaps not. Staying down there certainly hasn't progressed Jones or Robertson much

This was your typical Rangers game: Come out like gang busters for first 5-10 minutes....then one penalty/mistake snowballs into an unmitigated disaster.

I'm away camping and got on the sat phone to check the score.

What a wet fart of a result.
