As a Lugano fan, I am puzzled because we‘re set in net. Last season we had a plethora of injuries to our young goalies, but I think that getting an NHL goalie is a little over doing it.

I get the need to rip on Koskinen but he went 27-12 this year. If anything, he should have had a few more games in the last 5-8 regular season games and started 1-2 in the first round. Splitting duties between him and Smith could have been beneficial, but now we're stuck with a cold Koskinen.

He shouldn't be paid over 2 million, but he's a solid backup.
