Anyone with a comparable claim for Jack Adams so far?

Pens 4th in the league and on pace for 110 points with all its top players having missed significant amounts of games and their (perhaps former) number 1 goaltender having been quite far below average.

One of the top defensive teams in the league by all metrics, despite few rating the D very highly.
Among the top offenses despite the injuries and the PP being poor most of the season.

I think it is time if they continue anything like this.

I think it is time if they continue anything like this.

Probably deserves it, but coaches on established good teams rarely get consideration, because it's such a "what team has improved the most" award. There's no Isles level improvement from a team this year though, so it might happen

I hate the penguins about as much as my mom loves me. But he deserves as much praise as anyone.

He definitely deserves it. I hate the pens. Just a well oiled machine. Doesn’t matter who gets injured or goes down they just keep playing their game and don’t skip a beat.

Also kicked Philip J outta town which has payed dividends at ES.

jk seriously I think he’s the best coach in the league. His only issue is that he and the officials don’t seem to have a great relationship.
