I'll say it again: **** Dave Bolland. lost in the cloud of complete disinterest that is the Florida Panthers is the fact that he's getting paid close to what Richards is, and he managed basically the same production as Richie this year, despite getting way more ice time and playing on the 2nd line.

winners get scrutinized like crazy, losers get to coast around in anonymity, throwing the occasional cheap shot and collecting the dollars undisturbed.

not everybody plays 'til they're 40. 3 cup finals with 2 cups in a 5 year span. such a feisty player. I'm going to choose to remember the good times, hope he's able to do whatever he wants to in the future, whether it's hockey related or not.

the Burrows hit that's been posted was such a key moment. almost no doubt the rest of the way to the Cup from that point on. even in '14, he was on the ice late for the goal that sent it to OT in game 1 against the Ducks.

Thanks Richie, shame it had to end the way it did but he changed this team forever.

This would maybe be funny if we weren't watching the guys career potentially explode and losing a **** ton of money. Sad.

At the time I posted that none of us were aware of what was going on, now that the facts are leaking out, yeah, I do feel bad for what's happening, but he can't be absolved of any responsibility.

****ty ending for him here, definitely time to move on, but he gave us a lot of good memories in his short time here. All the best wherever he ends up. Enjoy the fiance, the lake, the cash, and the rings, and keep playing if you can.

Well, **** me.

Sounds like he's going through a massively dark time even without the details, but cheers to all the good times, good memories, and I hope this is something he can fight through and become a better person from (and that it hasn't hurt others as well).

I loved Mike Richards game and it's sad for me to see his tenure as a King go from so high to so low in such a short period of time.

I'm sure one day we will get more of the story but for now we can only speculate what went on in his head and his heart.

I'm worried about Mike Richards, the person. Hopefully he's got a good group of friends and family that will help him through this horrendous year that has gotten impossibly worse. Some professional help would be good too, if the oxycodone story is true.

Thanks for the Cups, Mike Richards. You'll always have the rings.

I bought a Richards jersey as soon as he was traded to the Kings, i'll always be a huge fan of the way he played this game and what he did to put this team on the map.

If he does have a problem I hope he gets it sorted out, Mike seems like a genuinely nice person who deserves to step away from the game and enjoy his life.

Thank you for everything, Mike! I'll still wear my #10 jersey proudly.

With that said, **** YOU DAVE BOLLAND.

Thanks for everything, MR. No matter what comes out, I made the right jersey choice back in 2012. Always rooted for you as a player. Now I'm rooting for you as a person.

Thanks for everything, MR. No matter what comes out, I made the right jersey choice back in 2012.

Everything makes sense now....

I have been guilty of this in the past. I got a Deadmarsh jersey in 2002
