Terrible comparison.

Eeyore is tough as nails. You see where he sleeps at night? And he walks around with a nail stuck in his ass everywhere he goes, and still plops himself down like a sack of potatoes when he sits. I wish Zib had an ounce of Eeyore's grit.
Wait, Eeyore has a nail in his ass?

Mika is literally in free-fall now in terms of quality and production. He either sits, gets sent down or the lines get put back the way they were. Any of those options is gonna need a coach to make a call and right now Lavi isn't about to do it so we may as well sit down, strap in and enjoy the suck.

Directly responsible for 3 goals against tonight.hm:Trouba and Miller

He was not directly responsible for three goals. The goalie is allowed to make saves. He was on the ice for 0.55 xGA. The second Scheifele goal he turned the puck over in the neutral zone 16 seconds before the goal and they got it back (despite Joe saying they never touched the puck), it went to Trouba who passed it behind the net around the boards to Laf who lost it on the boards and that is when they scored. They had everyone back. He had a horrible game but no surprise the blame is being totally misallocated as usual.

Lafreniere coming on the ice during the PP and burying that wrister with confidence should be the tolling bell for Zib on the first unit.

And Cuylle-Chytil-Kakko continuing to be our best 5v5 line should also be reason to cut some of his ice time.

But we won't do either of those things. Because he is older than all those other guys.

The last time I saw something like this in a high level athlete was Chuck Knoblauch with the Yankees. Seemingly overnight, he just got the yips and couldn't complete the most basic of plays. The more it happened, the worse it got. Zib looks like he has a case of the yips and he's playing scared.

I think Trocheck is playing hurt. He just doesn't look healthy to me
I can believe it with this silly ass team. I just can't understand it.

I can't understand why our team is playing injured players when we're only 12 games into the season. Same thing with playing The GF% Black Hole Lindgren with his fish bowl.

This is the perfect time to let the injured rest up and those lower down the list step up.
