So my team needs to carry one of the worst contracts in the league and basically carry dead space at times because he’s a baby?

Would you like that for your own team?

Do you think most NHL’ers (let alone people in society) don’t have some moments that might constitute a panic attack? Yeah, and most just suck it up and get on with it.

Not telling the guy he can’t get help or sit out games, but if he doesn’t want to fulfill his contract responsibilities because of his panic attacks, his contract really should be voided.
Brother what year do you think it is

Jesus Christ. This is one of the most heartless things I’ve ever seen on this board. How tf can you root for your team and then talk about the players as if they are disposable crap like that?

He’s being a baby, void the contract. Brutal attitude. And just on a purely “logical” point, gl with the PA putting up with that excuse for one second. They aren’t voiding his contract for this, full stop.
Because a panic attack isn’t a physical sickness. If he had a physical sickness, I’d understand.

It’s a mental illness, and sorry I don’t really understand about a guy making 8.5M a year to start grouching about a mental sickness. Everyone deals with stuff like that and unfortunately we don’t get to take off work with full pay and without losing our jobs.

“Only physical ailments are real”

He’s not a spreadsheet jockey, he’s one of the best in the world at something incredibly difficult. “We all deal with it” is f***ing moronic, on like 3 axes.

Okay let’s see if you like having 8.5 of dead space on your salary cap because you have a player grouching about being mentally ill.

Easy to say from your perch where it has no ramifications towards your interests.
"Grouching about being mentally ill" "It's not a physical illness "Just deal with it"

As someone who has battled with mental illness myself, witnessed it with my loved ones and work to help people affected by it, seriously man, f*** you.

Okay, and I'll state to you that sound like a baby. Everyone suffers with mental illnesses, at times. You aren't unique. There's nothing special about your mental illness.

Not everyone plays the victim about it. Some of us just deal with it and get on with life instead of trying to tell the world to get sympathy.

Sounds like someone who is bitter and needs to let everyone know! I wonder what you are trying to tell us by not telling us?

I'm sorry if that is how the world has treated you because that isn't really fair. That doesn't mean you have to lash out at everyone else or call Zibby a baby because people happen to recognize that mental illness is a big deal. Yes, it is unfortunate that lots of ppl have to suck it up, and the reality is that many people don't have anything beyond that option, but that doesn't mean we have to perpetuate the attitude.

What about playing the victim?

what triggers that reaction in you? is it a panic attack because of the shitty cap situation of the rangers?

be a man and suck it up!!!

He was 1PPG+ 3 of 4 years at his best. Led the NHL in goals per game in 2019-20. During a three year stretch was 16th in total points and 9th in goals leaguewide.

Whether he was a good enough player for his team when it mattered most is a fair question, but he was absolutely a 1C at his best.
some even called him a top 5 forward in the league ...

Educate yourself about what a panic attack is. It isn't something you can just "suck up" in the moment. The symptoms are acutely physical and have nothing to do mental resilience or any other human quality a person does/doesn't have
