So an interesting article in the LA Times. But something to keep in mind heading into next year.
If true this is really bad news for the Hawks and some other teams, we should be fine given our current structure, but maybe this does impact Legwand or other plans.
Lombardi said he was told the salary cap, initially projected to rise to about $71 million next season, will be significantly lower because of the recent weakness of the Canadian dollar. Lombardi said he verified that through the league.
