Give him a talking to, but there's no force, so there's no real danger. League doesn't look what could have been, but what happened.

Look at the NHL and how they do discipline. It's never what could have been, but rather what happened.

Sergachev's punch is dangerous, but it was only a 5k fine.

Thing is though, I’m not sure there’s such a thing as an “innocent” kick with a skate blade. Hardly any force or not, it’s incredibly reckless and dangerous.

Nothing should come of it? You don’t play with skate blades, ever. Ask Malarchuk, Zednik, Kane etc. how they feel about. Hard, soft, fake kick, whatever. He should get what Kassian got to send a message. This should not be tolerated in any league ever.
