shame things deteriorated this fast. league is player driven. player can just throw a fit and get suspended and force his way out. The "Harden" special

Jimmy: “I’m not really happy with my usage, I think we need better communication.”
Team: “f*** you, 7 games, go away.”
People here: “Jimmy’s fault!”

Heat fans say it's Pat Rileys fault. T-Wolves/Sixers/Bulls fans saying to Heat fans "we told you so".
Sixers fans don’t say that at all

nba really needs to get control of there league back from these diva's its gotten out of control they just throw there toys out of the craddle and demand trades at will these days
It’s the best thing the NBA has going

if i remember correctly, he was willing to stay in philly but the sixers hitched their wagon to simmons instead. made sense at the time, but obviously the wrong choice in hindsight. it was in minny where he pulled this same shit and quit on the wolves/demanded a trade

He only left Philly cause of Simmons/Brett Brown.

But he was only there less than one season. Who knows what have happened within the next 5 years. Especially once Rivers came along. He loved Miami until now too.

And went to Tobias Harris. They didn’t want to have to fire Brett Brown in-season.

God please get him to Orlando. I have seen enough to know this could be the last piece they need.
Whenever the Magic are good, the basketball gods swoop in and decimate the team with injuries. I'm on board with it though, fully healthy it would make them a contender.

Preach. But injuries can be rehabbed and the Magic can afford to play the long game here if they had Butler in tow. I would wager this group is a top 5 happiest locker room in the NBA and because of that, I don't know what they'd give up. Suggs and Anthony have become near untouchable now given how it's been months of either man stepping up depending on the game and wills Orlando to victory. I don't know if that would piss the team off or not. Idk man. Guys like Butler always go any of the same big 3 to 5 markets for a pair of 1st round picks, a bench player and a stick of gum.

I guess if I had to try it: send Judah, DaSilva, a bunch of draft picks and either Howard or Black. I know that is a laughable offer but every time a team like LA does the same shit, its a done deal

Idk man. I don't see anyone stopping KCP, Franz, Paolo, playoff Jimmy and Carter with any of Goga, Davis, Suggs and Anthony coming off the bench

It wasn’t really Harris that got Butler’s money, it was Al Horford. And it kind of made sense after the 2019 playoffs where the Sixers might actually have beaten Toronto if they’d had a decent backup center. Instead, Serge Ibaka pretty much owned the non-Embiid minutes.
