On ice product would improve if there were less games in the regular season. Too many games are dull and played with very little intensity. I definitely don't watch as much NHL hockey as I used to 10+ years ago because of this.

Because of the number of games, or because you're 10 years older with different obligations and priorities in life? Because the number of games was the same 10 years ago, it's been roughly the same for the last 50 years.

Does hockey even exist? Am I even real?

If a tree falls in the forest, and nobody is around to hear it, how would we know if Kuznetzov was nesting within it?

We can't possibly be "getting anywhere", given that neither space nor time really exists. We must always remain in the same place. (Except that words like "always" and "place" are meaningless, too, due to their reliance on illusionary concepts of time and space. The word really itself is highly questionable. 🤔
bring it ...

Q: if Adam had been playing left defense, and had gone into a corner with the intention of gaining possession, but instead had found this <apple> ... (with associated offer from g.b. ..) would the forces have approved of the bargain? (apparently those Forces were known as EL at the time) ....

(if the retrieval is on the half-wall, it's mostly because the opponent's F1/F2 are playing high,
plus your winger is coming back hard, to cover .....)

Q: is a sport still a sport if it's not being played, but simply watched?

I observed this thread while it was open, I hope a mod doesn't change its state.

(I'm aware quantum physics isn't necessarily metaphysics but I never said I was smart.)

Bro to understand the metaphysics behind not only the NHL but hockey in general you first have to understand that the Rothschild family has their fingerprints all over the game and that Gary Bettman is actually a reptilian just trust me bro. Awakening to hockeys truth is a major life altering event and on top of that once you realize a generational player is born every time the stars in orions belt align nothing is ever the same
is it to suggest that concentrations of capital are primary determinants of power?

If so what kinds of power?

It looks like most will agree that the notion of God is a universally accepted definition of a search for the truth. On that basis, any terms of service that are reluctant with metaphysical expressions regarding truth would also want to ban their opposite number. In the sense of fairness of course.

debating the "post and cover" goaltending style and how and why it tends to result in incapacity is dangerous territory and I do agree.

This is entirely metaphorical of course.

It almost feels as though discussing the metaphysical concept of God, as relating to ice hockey, is fraught with caution.

This is an amazing feeling.

It brings up many associations. Such as, why were the Cathars opposed by the Roman authorities? Given that ice hockey was just starting to make its presence felt in the south of France.

In fact hockey took root in New France, of all places. Which became home ground of Le Canadien.

So many moving parts. At the center of it, a creative Force. Imagine the possibilities for just a moment. It almost boggles the imagination. The possibilities seem truly limitless.

We found the next Derrida.
actually, intellectual abstractions are not all that interesting. ... maybe using language as a playing board all on its own.
As such, the meaning is often diffused, which doesn't lead to genuine understanding.
