Thanks for sharing. I can't think about the old Met Center without visualizing those unique multi-colored seats: yellow, white, green, and black, if I'm not mistaken.

I just finished watching the documentary which Fox 9 Minneapolis-St. Paul posted last month on how Minnesota lost the North Stars.

From the casual outsiders perspective it feels like the impact of temporarily losing the Minnesota North Stars had a real cultural impact that getting the Minnesota Wild back 7 short years later never really filled.

I can see why the Wild are reverting to traditional Minnesota North Stars colours in their gradual rebrand.

A couple years before the demolition, I got to skate in that arena.

It's still the only time I've ever skated on NHL ice.

If someone knows otherwise please correct me, but I believe the Met Center was the first sports venue to be demolished via implosion.
