I got mixed feelings about this.

On one hand he had an asset in a hole half way to Hong Kong and cutting expenditures and pissing off vendors is to be expected.

OTOH there were things done that rubbed the people he needed most (local politicians) the wrong way.

He failed to read the room he was operating in.

Cool of him to do this. If Shane Doan, Dale Hawerchuk, the 2012 banner and Howler are all sitting in purgatory, then obviously Matt Shott and Leighton Accardo are too. I hope it's not the last massive funds injection the foundation gets for a while, but who knows?

2028-29 from what I understand unless you want to pay OVG, which operates the TCC, A 3 M exit fee, the lease was extended through 2027-28, instead of the original of 2026-27....

because Tucson has been publically known about when the sale to SEG went through..... whether or not and did you forget that Arizona had been the affiliate from 2013-2015 or around the time OEL spent the 2014 season in Portland as a development prospect..... which had been the franchise's 20th season since arriving from Baltimore in 1994.... it wasn't just in this forum, either..... the AHL and ECHL had/have numerous topics about Tucson since the franchise was bought from Springfield ownership (not the current Thunderbirds) in 2014.... when the AHL WENT coast to coast

This feels like the least he could do considering how he single-handedly laid waste to AZ hockey. Especially considering it was chump change to him even before his Coyote grift much less after.
