Wishing one and all here a wonderful cheeerful happy holiday Season and lots of health for 2017.....

I was very serious when I last posted that I have stopped watching hockey all together because it no longer relates to me as a follower of hockey in general.....I really do not like where this product has headed and I do not miss this type of new NHL game play at all.

I still felt compelled to wish you all a Wonderfull Holiday Season....
Cheers!! and Keep Safe!!

In what is becoming a Holiday tradition at WBZ-TV, the sports department worked hard all season to round up Boston’s biggest stars for a special reading of a Holiday classic.

Stars young and old from each of the major sports teams, and a few legends around these parts, each took a line from “Twas The Night Before Christmas†to bring some extra holiday cheer to WBZ-TV viewers.

So sit back and enjoy as our local sports stars recite the classic poem in the video above. Happy holidays from everyone here at WBZ-TV and CBSBoston.com!

Got more stuff than I could imagine from a new 50" TV to Cobra golf club set to a vacuum. My daughter even gave me the signed autograph Bruins golf bag she won at the Bruins Draft party in June (me, kid, and Ally walking from bar afterwards to Ally's car with me carrying that golf bag just dazed and confused from the Trent Frederic pick, while the girls yapped away. I don't think I said 1 word. I think at the time I would have traded that bag for DiBrincat or Lindgren. But now I'm drinking the Frederic coolaid and they got Lindgren next day). I win win anc with the bag I win for me. I won't use the bag but it's a cool artifact

The best present of the day though was Penny- no relation to Steve who shocked the Bruins in 1983 with the Habs. The girls went to Petsmart to buy the dog a bed and they had older cats for adoption and one was Penny an 8 year old cat. They had to go back a bunch of times but they got her

Things are things but she is so cute and my daughter is fantastic with pets - they all are. The cat comes to Penny and she is already sleeping on their beds

I love it when pets get great loving homes

For Christmas Amanda got us tickets to see Tom Petty in Hartford in June.:)

That is awesome - your daughter is a doll.

We have cat pictures to show you - i haven't figured that part out yet

She's adorable so glad they got her

Lucky you ... love seeing Petty in concert.

We have seen Tom a bunch of times. He is ALWAYS good live.

I took Amanda when she was 7 (to Great Woods in Mass ...or whatever it is now). I had promised her if she got good grades I would . She got all A's so I had to. Now she is 37 :amazed:

She has always loved Tom and goes to see him in Calif often. Last time I saw them play was in Saratoga NY a few years ago (with Crosby Stills and Nash).

We will be away when they are in Boston so she got us seats in Hartford. Not sure who is opening for him.

It's a nice gift and I am looking forward to it.;)
