I love my HF Leaf Family. People here want to have fun. People are cool with me being silly, emotional, blissful, artful, and sometimes critical. As a person who's banned from both Trade Rumors and National Hockey League Talk, I'm grateful to be accepted here.

Don't ever change Leaf Fans. You are the salt of the earth.

Santa called me and said all you have to do is be master of your domain from now until the summer and the Leafs will win the Cup.
Not saying it's all on you...but it kind of is.

Merry Xmas boys!

Another year in the books, it is a good time to reflect on what was once the biggest hockey discussion forum on the internet but is quickly becoming a niche community. I'm personally thankful for all of our HFLeaf posters who keep us entertained all year long, arguing with each other about pointless things that distracts us from some of the stress in our lives.

So to all of you, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. Thanks for being here and here's to a great 2025
What do you mean by "what was once the biggest hockey discusion forum on the internet"?

Is it no longer the biggest hockey forum on the internet?

Merry Christmas btw and thanks for being "that" Leafs fan on here.

I predict Tavares jerseys will only be discounted by 40% on this boxing day !

I remeber when Luke Schenn got traded, Real Sports was blowing out his authentic jersey for like $30 or something.............

Would have been a good purchase in hindsight considering he came back for a season and played well.

This was once the place to discuss hockey. Today there are larger platforms taking the traffic like Reddit. Twitter and other platforms also feature tons of hockey talk.

This place is almost exclusively over 30 year olds, wouldn't be surprised if the average age here was 45. Older folks who grew up on sites like these still appreciate them, but younger kids see these formats as archaic. Writing is on the wall for internet forums. Other sites as big or bigger than this one at it's peak have folded over the years.

Just appreciating what we have because you never know when it is done.
