Also I second the not buying everyone a present thing. My wife and I by gifts for her parents, my mom, each other and the kids. But we have a large family get together we did this year on Sunday. We pick a price point this year it was $25. Than we play dirty Santa. We draw numbers and you can choose to unwrap a present under the tree or steal one that someone else had already unwrapped. Gifts range from weird and strange (i bought a hotdog toaster last year) to pretty cool snack things like gourmet nuts, but honestly it's more fun than most of the gifts are worth.
