Only Stutzle can create on his own.

Batherson sometimes. When he feels like it.
IMO this is the main problem. Tkachuck, Norris, Batherson, Pinto, Sando, Chabot, they don't generally create great chances on their own. They support play or take advantage of openings, but they aren't creating it themselves. Same for Giroux, mostly, due to being slower than he used to.

Waste of a PP. Team really showed nothing offensively all game so far.
They ain’t got much offensively.

One guy can take over a shift. And even him… he’s had grade A scoring chances tonight. Couldnt. score one.

The other guys in this team are passengers. And offensively they’re less than that. A lot of the struggle with simply possessing the puck and moving it cleanly.

Eh, is what it is. Nothing to get bent out of shape over, but it’s incredibly annoying that nothing will be said about legitimate officiating grievances.

It's hard to build momentum with these calls.

That being said outside of Stutzle too many of our players shoot it right at the goalies chest or just wide of the net when we do get decent opportunities.

And this is an all-time referee job. They need to be handed pink slips as soon as they have skated off the ice. I can understand missed calls, bad calls. I can't understand a game officiated this poorly.

The league has penalized the sens so much already with the Pino suspension and the 1st round pick taken bullshit so this is where the owner needs to call the league and use whatever sympathy he has from inheriting all this shit to make sure this ref doesn't do any more sens games for the foreseeable future

Both of those are warranted.

The reffing tonight is a whole other story, Sens should be posing questions to the media.

bit of a weak call, but i'll take it...refs know the game is pretty safe anyways
The old saying "too little, too late" comes to mind! Highly doubtful a late stage Canes penalty can compensate for this game long officating fiasco. It's not impossible but a Sens comeback from this butchered game call is statistically improbable.

To be clear though... the Sens have played like total crap tonight! All the more reason the Canes didn't need Ref help! That too many men call was genuine - but the rest was utter fantasy!

I dont know i wont get too emo off a loss with refs being this bad but I keep reading the numbers are good and this and that and its cool really, but they cant string wins together.

Thats the reality

Can't even get possession. Way too easy for the canes.

Team is still not close to the elite teams in the league when they play a decent game.

Mid team that will compete with the other mid teams for a wildcard spot if they don't blow the season early again.

Classic sens if we get shutout with Martin in the net.

They're gonna figure it out at some point this year, but God damn does this suck right now
