Goes to show what a practical people we are. Near my summer place I see a site where archeologists figured out there's been some 8500 years of continuous settlement. No idea who they were, but who wanted to be here anyway? So it's probably us. Sorry.

You know, it's funny, I was watching the show last night and thinking "there's no way that this guy literally had somebody ram a needle thru his pecker". I mean that has to be fake news about the "Prince Albert" piercing.

I have followed Formula 1, where the Monaco GP is the event of the season. For the longest time I faultily thought that the then-successor (nowadays the monarch of Monaco) Prince Albert always appearing at the event was the originator of the name. He used to be a party prince always on the tabloids.

I one hundred percent believed it of him that at some time earlier paparazzi pics with pierced pecker had been published of him. Hence, "prince albert".
