It’s wild. It’s very different from the cartoon/book while still mostly hitting the same notes. It’s worth it for Carrey’s performance alone even if the rest of the movie has some issues

True story: first time I ever needed a cart at Aldis I had no clue about their cart system. A girl was returning one from the parking lot and I just kind of grabbed it, saying something like "I'll take that for ya" thinking I was saving her the rest of her walk back to the stack. She said something along the lines of "oh, you need a cart?" but nothing else and let me go on my way. You can imagine my embarrassment when I realized that there's a quarter deposit on the carts and I had essentially robbed her.
If the young lady that I grabbed the cart from that day reads HF Canes, I'm terribly sorry and I'll be more than happy to reimburse you the quarter plus some to make up for my action!
