Two things I ran into today

In the bathroom at the college I teach at:

Guy begging at the corner with a sign that read “why lie, I need a beer”

I struggled with violating my policy of giving beggars money because his sign was at least honest. Before anyone clutches pearls, I give to organizations and will buy someone’s dinner. Just don’t give money.
