Meier Knee Necas

Im glad both are okay.. and no further discipline is a plus

Be safe out there! 🦺

Sure, ok, it was a miscarriage of justice.

Congratulations.

Hughes got away with one for the Fabbri hit.
Still can’t bring yourself to align with your own position from yesterday. Dear lord, this embarrassing even for you.

“Mr. Objectivity” really dropping the title in record time.

?

Like I said, I couldn’t view your video.

I found one and it’s similar where Wahlstrom tried to hit him and ended up leading with the leg.

Should have been a penalty.

How about Hughes on Fabbri? Dangerous? Reckless?

Resulted in an injury.

You’ve conveniently ignored saying anything about it.I guess you’re consistent in that you’re not even trying to be objective.

Game, set, match.

LOL, now you’re appealing to authority.

So the 5 minute major on Meier was correct? Thats what the refs called.

The hypocrisy is hilarious, champ.
You are a complete hack

I said they got the (Fabbri) call right. One of us is able to evaluate plays on their own merits, and Mr. Objectivity, unfortunately it's clearly not you. Tough luck, I can tell you've really given this your all over these past two days.

Take that axe your grinding somewhere else.

It’s refreshing to hear that you think Meier deserved the 5 minute major.

My work here is done.

They got the call right.
When posters like you fall back on their last resort of schoolyard "spazoid says what" level posts, I know the game has already been won.

I'd say "well played", but frankly I think you've thoroughly embarrassed yourself here.

I just hope your fellow Devils fans fall into line with respect to your opinion that the refs were correct in this particular case with respect to Meier’s 5 minute major penalty for kneeing.

Looks like we agree after all.

I just really hope you don't actually think I was referring to Meier there. Right? Like then I may actually be worried about you at a much more concerning level than I was prior.

Lol calm down, sparky. This isn’t rapid fire. You’re not that important.

February 2020 is Hughes’ rookie year - that’s an 18-year-old kid that’s never thrown a hit in his life trying to catch a guy and doing it horribly. It’s also not a knee - looks more like thigh on knee, hence why they called it tripping.

Sure, call it reckless.
He was only 18. He comes from a good family and has his whole life ahead of him. Don’t ruin his future because of an accident. You don’t know how hard he’s taking this and what he’s going through right now. He’s absolutely beside himself and might not even be able to go to yacht camp this summer because of it. Hasn’t he been punished enough?

Oh, so the refs didn’t get the Meier call right.

But I thought you said that Hughes on Fabbri wasn’t a knee on knee because of what the call on the ice was?

Which is it?

Ah, I get it. The refs are correct when it suits your player and they’re wrong when it doesn’t.

What a shocking revelation.

“Thigh on knee”, that’s a good one, I’ll remember that.

TBH the two of you explicitly taunting one another over the simultaneous claim of “winning” your respective internet arguments is a little cringey.

What the hell are you talking about?

The refs made the correct call on one play, and shocker, didn't on another! Woah!

It wasn't a knee, because it wasn't a knee. And the refs saw it the same way. I'd think you, having been so keen on the rulebook and textbook officiating for the past two days, would take a shine to that one. But I guess now that it doesn't suit you, that goes right out the window. Another absolute shocker in the chronicles of Mr. objectivity. What a world.

You should approach Stutzle's next pirouhette with this same gusto. Might be real eye-opening.

“It wasn’t slashing, it was arm to stick!”

Take your time figuring out what part of Hughes body is making contact with Fabbri's knee, Mr. Objectivity

Okay, now can you please go a couple more frames backward before contact? I'd like to see what Hughes' posture looked like as he was hopping over the boards.

Unlike your screen shot which is showing his momentum post-collision?

Funny.

Fabbri’s leg is already in the air. :biglaugh:

I guess he was kicking into space just as Hughes hit him.
