Now I'm just waiting for a Ryan Gosling movie where he has Raffi Torres sewn into the back of his jacketbravo, did not know if anyone would get the reference
Basically about the same. Zetterlund is a throw-in but Muk is legit and two relatively high picks are nothing to complain about, plus more D depth in Okhotiuk. Jonsson wasn't terrible either, just unlucky and happened to get injured. How’s everyone feeling about this trade now after seeing some games?
I would say so so… could be better, could be worse…How’s everyone feeling about this trade now after seeing some games?
Not having Timo time any longer stings.I like Muk. a lot. The extra 1st is nice and we were tanking anyway so losing Meier doesnt sting as bad.
Hard to care about trading away a third liner for a 1st and a future #2/3 D.I find myself just not caring about this trade at all anymore.
They are for sure not putting there best foot forward in showing meier that they want him back that is for sure.I get the feeling Meier won't resign in NJ and they'll flip him and get a lot back.
I’m still in wait in see mode, I still think it was a trade for spar parts. Zetterlund is a solid 3/4 liner on a team with depth.Basically about the same. Timo for Zetterlund straight up.I get the feeling Meier won't resign in NJ and they'll flip him and get a lot back.
It was Timo for Muk, who was like NJD's 5th best D-prospect.Timo for Zetterlund straight up.
wasn’t he the 5th overall prospect? It was Timo for Muk, who was like NJD's 5th best D-prospect.
Eh, I don't think you can judge the trade on whether or not he signs.I’m still in wait in see mode, I still think it was a trade for spar parts. Zetterlund is a solid 3/4 liner on a team with depth.
But if the devils don’t resign Timo it’s actually a fair deal
It was a good deal already. I think the unrealistic expectations of hoping to get Mercer, Hughes, or the likes is blinding people.I’m still in wait in see mode, I still think it was a trade for spar parts. Zetterlund is a solid 3/4 liner on a team with depth.

No higher than 26th. They were the best non-division winner, so no matter how quickly they exit the playoffs there can only be six teams below them.At least the NJD 1st this year will be like a 20th
