All you boys had to do was ask. Could have provided nude split photos to tie you over to the oilers tomorrow.

My wife said I just can't do them in the living room with the stomach window open. Neighbour complains
Neighbor is obviously jealous

I don’t know if you guys have any sense of just how much I love fried chicken. I have eaten seven lifetimes worth of it with as much gravy as humanly possible. I do wonder if I wouldn’t have coronary issues if I had picked something like grapes to be my go-to.

So Arvidsson scores a goal, gets a primary assist for a 2 point night as a player we really need to get going and immediately gets demoted to the 2nd line for a guy who hasn't been good for most of this season (RNH).

This team loves to shoot itself in the foot and make everything more difficult than it has to be.

I love the Podkolzin-Draisaitl-Arvidsson line on paper, hopefully it plays out on ice as well as it does in my mind.

I hate it. Needs Kapanen over Arvidsson. Just not a fan if smaller, older players trying to recover pucks and recover pucks for Leon.

At the end of the day this is a line in our top six and the top six needs to score.

People felt bad for Draisaitl when he was carrying guys like Yamamoto and Foegele to 20 goal seasons. Podkolzin and Kapanen will be lucky to hit 20 points this season.

Nice to see RNH Back in his spot. The guy does so much of the unsung work that casuals don’t understand the importance of. Extending plays, stripping pucks, defensive zone work, the list goes on. There’s a reason he’s on McDavids wing consistently and it’s because the best player in the world wants him there. He’s shooting almost 25% under his career average so far this year but itll level out, already starting to score more with 4pts in his last 5 games.

I really liked Arvidsson on that top line and it obviously worked for the one game in happened.

Rnh has been much better recently though.

Is it really a demotion with how Draisaitl has been playing this year?

I'm sorry but 2 goals in almost half a season next to McDavid isn't even close to good enough. Arvidsson just had one in his first game. We just picked up a bottom -6 player from waivers in Kapanen and even he's outproducing him in the few games he's been in. It's a joke.

It’s ok to not understand little casual. The best player in the world knows what he brings and that’s exactly why RNH is where he is.

It's ok to go against the other lemmings once in a while even when we're talking about the city's golden boy. Or we could just overrate his intangibles to justify his lack of production. It's worked for this long.

We already know what we have with RNH on McDavid's line.

We don't know if Arvidsson may be a fit with McDavid. It's stupid to not try it, but that's how the lineups for this team roll, this is also the same team that insisted on running Desharnais in the lineup at the expense of a top 10 pick, so it sorta checks out.

Fxxx RNH. Guy is a coattail rider gifted a permanent spot with McDavid and has 2 goals. Stop riding his jock. Reporters need to give him a tough time like they do with any other Oilers such as Nurse. RNH has been poor and has zero excuses. He plays soft perimeter hockey and its wearing guys like McDavid down having to cover for his lack of corner play and getting on the inside.

Podkozlin will do the dirty work of recovering pucks for Drai. Personally I think the shooters mentality that Arvidsson will bring will help that line out, I really felt like Kapanen had a bit of Eberle-itis where he’d make one too many moves or dust the puck off one too many times. Not to say I dislike Kapanen, he’s been a great pickup but I just really feel like Arvy will be a better fit on that line.

I get your thought process, but Arvidsson has already been test driven there and failed miserably the first go round. Kapanen is much better at give and go and getting to loose pucks. Kapanen also seemed to he forming some serious chemistry just before Arvidsson came back.
