I believe 100% that McDrai will win a cup in Edmonton. I'm not sure this is the year, but tied 2-2 in the final four is nothing to sneeze at. I'm pretty sure the league would love Dallas, Florida or NYR to win the cup instead.

If Tanev is out then I have a feeling they get their shot.

Skinner continues to scare the hell out of me. If going into every game you don't know what you are going to get then is he really a #1? Nope. Just imagine if this team had Bob in net or some other true #1. EDM would have likely swept pretty much every round heading into the finals. lol. But it is what it is. At least the team has Pikard to fall back to who has played well in limited action.

Was just thinking this. Lol. Imagine being at this juncture with a half assed goalie and Connor at half throttle.

Even if Tanev isn't playing, the Stars are a deep and lethal team. It is a big advantage on paper if Tanev is out, but the Stars will know that too and their desperation level will be off the charts.

It has a feeling of last round with Boeser out, where this is a character test for both sides. I have a lot of faith in the Oilers. If they just play their game, and don't let the Stars push the pace, the Oilers should win

Their defence isn’t deep. I do agree though they will come out flying.

If the Tanev injury is for real, either if he is out or if he is hobbled, it makes a drastic shift. Even though the series is tied, Dallas must win tomorrow because they aren't coming back in Edmonton. Meanwhile, I don't think it is as must-win for us. We could win in game 6 and 7 like we did vs Vancouver.

I love that we can win without McDavid going super saiyan, but I really miss the way he can destroy the opposition seemingly all by himself. I want him to get that swag that he had vs the Flames in 21-22.

I know Connor is leading the playoffs in points but so far I've got Drai and Bouchard vying for Oilers MVP. Drai was the MVP vs LA and Bouch vs VAN.
It was Flames, like playing against beer league team. Now there is real team against.

I actually am going to say he comes out strong tomorrow. I mean can't do any worse than he did to start last game.

Bob costs $10M and couldn't fit on this team, though.

I'd actually argue Skinner is better bang for his buck in that sense, much as I wish he was the backup instead.

I think that’s the fist positive comment I’ve ever seen or heard with regards to the Talus Dome

I think it's positively ugly... :sarcasm:

Boys need to dig deep and not give the Stars any leeway. As someone else mentioned, Dallas has shown twice now that they are more than capable of bouncing back from a loss and finishing off their opponents. This isn't LA or even Vancouver that we're dealing with.
