I'll be the first to say it.....(I think)

I think there's a chance that this organization will make Marty our next year's Captain.
He may play longer than just next years contract and firmly believe he's known about his Mom's sickness......which means he's been playing with a heavy heart. Ergo, his poor play.

McD (can wait), Staal (may not be here), Girardi (can wait), Nash (doesnt deserve it), Richards (might buy him out), everywhere you look.....apparently the team LOVES and RESPECTS him.........so why not? I'm for it.

no matter what happens tonight im damn proud of this team.

they are tired. the schedule had been against them. they are going to a 2nd straight game 7 after i thought they were toast. this will be their 14 playoff game already. major props.

this team has shown me something i never thought i would see. heart and talent. martin st louis is a warrior. hank is still the best goaltender in the world. zuke and poo are keepers. mcd is a stud. and nick rash is almost clueless. av has done a terrific job getting HIS team to this point. this team has earned my respect.

good luck tonight. no matter what happens, the core is there to compete for a cup. team just needs a few more pieces. excited for the future with this group.

im proud of my team.

LGR.

Win or lose this team really proved a lot and showed resiliency in tough conditions. Our best player was a skating around with scrambled brains for the first 4 games, we were missing one of our goal scoring leaders, Nash is in the slump of probably his entire hockey carer, they've played like 15 games in 20 nights, we're playing arguably one of the top 3 teams in the league, and hate to say it but there is always that thing with the refs when you play the penguins. That's a lot of good things to take away from this series if we don't move on. You also gotta be happy with our less raw talented offensive and defensive players for REALLY stepping up their game and showing TONS of heart. Players like Carcillo, Boyle, Klien...without them we wouldn't have made it past the first round. Especially Carcillo, he really has no business being such as hero for this team in the stat columns. Just goes to show you how important heart is. I'll be ecstatic if they win, I'll be crushed if they lose...but this year is different somehow and I feel a lot better about the team than I have in past years.

Hey guys, I'm a Ducks fan, but cheering for the Rangers strongly tonight. Hopefully, Stepan gets out of his slump. Good luck!

If you need some positive thoughts, check out this from FansUnite blogs:

"King Henrik has stopped 67 of 69 shots he has faced since the Rangers fell behind 3-1 in the series. Also, he is 9-2 with a 1.35 GAA with the Rangers facing elimination, including a 4-1 game 7 record. Furthermore, the Penguins have to fight their recent history. Pittsburgh is just 2-6 at home in game 7’s in franchise history. While recent history is not a great indicator of future results, much of the present core were part of the 2010 and 2011 game 7 losses to Montreal and Tampa Bay respectively"

let's go rangers!! get after those whiners and cheap shot artists!!!!

I'm disgusted to be a fan of this team of head hunters. Gutless players intentionally trying to kill the greatest player of all time. Sickening

This team. They got me anxious and nervous like I was a teenager.

As much as they piss me off, and they're definitely the Cubs, this team was assembled the right way and I truly believe had it not been for the schedule they would have finished the Pens off by now.

For all the pissing and moaning, this team impressed me.

Almost there.

Weird, I am not nervous at all. Yet anyway, hehe.
Between Sid's frustration, MAF's lack of mental strength, and NYR winning two in a row, I feel all the pressure is on the Pens.
We already won two on the road this series, and we have been awesome on the road all season. And we have Hank!

LGR!

knowing our fans, Nash could score 3...the team could lose 4-3, and they would blame Nash....

"whyd he pick this game to score?!"
"if he had scored earlier...."
"bad luck"
"i'm not sayign it was aliens...but it was aliens..."

Best bet is Yard House. I watched a few Rangers games up there earlier this year when in Boston for conferences. Wore my Rangers gear and had some good conversations and met a few Rangers fans there.

I was in Boston in 1994. Let's just say every bar I went to that night was a Ranger bar. At least for the 15 mins I was there before I got kicked out.

I found a lot of the NY metro transplants hang around Allston-Brighton more for sporting events.

Just woke up after having a well-needed nap (since I got up early at 4 AM twice in a row and the game is at 1 AM for me) and I have to tell you:

I had a dream that the Rangers won with goals by Nash, Hagelin and Zuccarello.

The Pens have a ton of pressure on them. Lots of jobs on the line. Maybe both Shero and Bylsma, but definitely Fleury.

The Rangers should be loose. Talent-wise, after Crosby and Malkin the Rangers are much better and are constructed appropriately.

If the Rangers score first, if they withstand the expected onslaught 10 mins after, they will win.

I'm just pissed I have to listen to Emrick. It's bad enough we're all having heart attacks to begin with.
