After last game's atrocity, I have zero expectations for this one so.........might as well just win! :D
 
At least the Stepan line should have some speed with Kreider and Zucc as wingers.
 
I could muster up some optimism if they hadn't look so outclassed in this series.
 
We're out and the sad thing is I still refuse to cut my hair, shave my beard.
 
Probably better off losing this. You don't win the Cup playing 7 game series every round. Cut your losses and retain this year's first rounder.

This is the worst mentality. I'd love nothing more than to lose that 1st rounder.
 
The last three games have been so enervating that I want to just watch the NFL draft instead of having to handle the emotions of a possible elimination game.

Not that I can actually bring myself to do that, but I kind of wish.

There's an odd lack of anger amongst them. Being defeated is the worst way to handle defeat. You gotta use it as fuel. It's natural to be bummed about stuff for a little, but they don't really have the luxury of lazing around for a week like we regular folk might in day-to-day defeat. Get angry.
 
My damn beard is itching as hell, but I'm not ready to trim it...

Hopefully golf isn't on our key players mind tonight...

That line kicked butt when together earlier in this season. We are going to win this game. Go back to MSG and win game 6 and then we will let the chips fall where they may in Pit for game 7.
 
Good for Marty. Hopefully it will help get his mind off things for at least a little while.


Win or lose I want to see this time fight for the win. Show some pride and play the way you are capable of.
