I'd like to see you try to do it when the puck is skipping and rolling.

It jumped on him right as he was in the process of snapping the shot. It was flat the entire time he skated up with it until he was just about in the slot.

Bad luck, but I still would like him to be more decisive and aggressive with his shot. Just like the announcers stated right after the replay. He needs to put his head down and try and shoot it through Fleury.

Get angry Rick. C'mon...

The team is starting to get some puck luck. Bouncing pucks ending up on Rangers sticks for a change

I think we need to redefine bad. It was a bad goal. Not a bad period.

If he let up several goals, it would be a bad period. Especially like the one he let up.

Underwhelmed? Maybe. Average period? I think so.

Bad? Bad is reserved for the periods when the team trails by multiple goals heading into the second. That did not happen though.

I just feel like people use the term "bad" way too often, especially on here.

My definition of a bad period is a bad goal. It's too stupid to try and define it any other way. He did his job the rest of the period and was soft on the goal. So that's bad to me. It's a lot more difficult for goalies than it is skaters, IMO.

Ugh... with all that money, he can't buy a goal. He shot that right at him (ehhh it looks like he tried blocker side).
