In my best Uecker voice...6 shots? Six frigging shots?

We're so petrified and tight. The chances are there but it's in our heads. To go 7 periods without scoring a damn goal on MAF is so embarrassing.

I don't see how his game meshes with those players. Clarkson served a purpose as the "in front of the net" presence. What does Hagelin serve with those players? You want the puck on their stick. Not on his. So he's not the puck possession guy.

Elias would be able to get him the puck in stride.

Same with Parise.

Hag's speed would also help create mis matches for Kovy to exploit.

I don't disagree that Clarkson played a specific purpose, but Hags is a better hockey player than Clarkson.

The lack of effort from Nash is simply disturbing. I just don't understand how we can keep paying him big bucks for doing nothing.

We are the worst team left in these playoffs by a mile. Its infuriating to know the talent we have, yet it just does nothing on the ice.

Regarding the forwards that are out there I don't see the talent we have. I mean if 19,61 and 26 played like everyone think they should then maybe but I look at the other 7 teams left in the playoffs and our forward lineup isn't even close.

The real problem is sather and maybe not the 50 coaches that have been here under his tenure

I'm happy to be critical of the team that period, but there are two on the ice, and Pittsburgh is playing tremendous hockey right now. It's like watching an EA Sports gamer without a social life play.

Hagelin isn't a shooter. So what does that do?

Hagelin is simply not a fit for any of those players because he is a bottom six player without size. If he was a net presence, that could negate the rest of his flaws. That's primarily why Clarkson was even able to succeed with those guys. His flaws were not exploited playing there since he had a very specific role.

Hank's fault

Of course Lundy is dizzy trying to find the puck...and unlucky that it squeezed by...but it was a bang bang play.... but those type of things wouldnt happen if you didnt turn the puck over every other possession...Its quite the playoffs for the Rangers...I think they have killed themselves and not so much what the Pens have done...

I can't wait until Pitt and MAF return to sucktitude in the ECF. This is what happens when you're highest paid players don't perform.

I just want a #1 C...hell even a #2 C. I love Stepan but the poor kid has been miscast for two years now. Until we get stronger there, it ain't happening.

I don't think Lundqvist has been the biggest problem in this series, but when your team is struggling to score you don't give up a goal that even nevesis doesn't like. You just don't. Say what you want about not testing Fleury but he hasn't given up a soft goal in the last 7 periods. Lundqvist is getting outplayed by Fleury, you just can't make that **** up.
