Well..... Walman was just traded for a 1st, and I don't see anyone offering that for McMann...... So Walman I guess?

With how Edmonton is with Toronto players, mcmann would become a 35 goal scorer on that team lol

To properly answer the question, with 1 year deals for both and only a 2M dollar difference I would take the middle pairing dman ocer the middle six forward.

They both are middling pieces who should be far away from the sharp end of a roster with aspirations of winning.

The difference is negligible.

My logic was pretty similar. Add to the fact that Edmonton specifically targeted and traded for Walman not as a rental and I sincerely doubt they’re in any hurry to move him for *ahem* “fair” value.

Walman, mainly due to McMann being a bad playoff player in his first run

If he had given the expected production after a good breakout season, he'd have solidified himself.

Walman was good in the playiffs outside the SCF and has more value as such. Better player when it matters

I'd do with McMann, simple because he's half the cost. In theory Walman plays a more desirable role though. Walman also fetched a first which seems like quite an overpay to land him.

A legit top 4 d man that makes under 4 million that plays both sides you think a late first is an overpay for that... lol what .
