Going to need get in the eyes of lyon, tip, dirty goal off a rebound tonight. It's coming though.

We have a bunch of guys who look like they could never score in 100000 opportunities.

The caps chose to sign Pacioretty to a much cheaper lower risk bonus laden contract instead of Brown…

Guess who just scored their first goal of the season tonight.

HINt: Not brown. Will never be Brown.

Alright, I missed the first two periods. How are we looking? Is lyon goalieing us?

Don't like Draisaitl slow cooking along the boards and then soft passing back to the point. The PP needs faster puck movement and generating shot attempts. Get Leon into the slot for a different look and shot angle.

Him and Nuge both have a really bad habit of slowing it down, isolating themselves, then flipping it high either for a turnover or out of our own zone.

Last scoreless games Oilers have been involved with:

October 20, 2019: Lost in the SO against the Jets.
February 5, 2017: Won in the SO against the Canadiens.

Just checked the score. A 0-0 Oilers game after 2 is.....different. I hope this isn't a carbon copy of the Tampa game where they get goalied after dominating through 2.

I notice the tendency more with Draisaitl. Will say that Nuge is too passive and needs to show shot first more to force defences into closer coverage of him. But agree this PP wanders into slow puck movement and/or high risk cross seam stuff. Need more player movement and faster puck distribution. But for gawd's sake push pucks on the net and crash for rebounds.
