What kind of person chooses the 3 stars in LA???

A massive homer I guess.

Stars are for winners. It's the playoffs and the goal is to win the Stanley Cup not the best player in the ice Cup. He didn't do enough for his team to win.
I would argue he did indeed do enough. He can't make Skinner stop that shot.

I am pretty sure he could care less about not getting a star. But he will be concerned what they look like without Eck on the backend

He's the Captain, he's the best player in the ice, he is arguably the best player in the world, approaching GOAT status.

If they didn't win he didn't do enough.

Home arena staff picks the stars, they won a playoff game and had 3 players who did well so that’s who they pick. Why would they pick a rival?

It’s a meaningless token “honor”. I really wouldn’t even spend any more time and mental energy even thinking about it, to be honest.

McDavid was on the losing, visiting team. This is pretty common since the home team picks the stars

He should have been at least 3rd star. 4 points shouldn’t be ignored.

He was the reason they got back into the game but he was also the reason for the King’s 6th goal.

Maybe that’s why?

McDavid is in top shape.

Oilers are going to win the cup. And he's going to have another Conn Smythe. And make another run at the record books with Gretzky as his target.

Oilers win round 1 in 5 or 6 games tops.

How about not giving up the puck that lead to the game winner?
The winning goal is not even being shown from the start in highlights I’m watching. I had to dig for it.

It’s crazy to say but McDavid (Drai too) need to do more for the oilers. And the “more” has nothing to do with score more.

They both look terrible on the Kings 6th goal
