Sedins never whined that much. Come on man .
ya, they were a little tougher, for sure.

but, geeky. talented, softish...... no personality? cmon...

i guess Connor would be the first billy goat GruffSedin, followed by Daniel, and then the zboss would be Henrik??

What are you talking about? What does a concussion have to do with the trip on Draisaitl that has been called a slewfoot so many times but has no similarity to a slewfoot whatsoever?

You are right! I misread your post, my apologies. I thought you were saying that the McDavid elbow was way less dangerous than the alleged slewfoot by the Minnesota player. It was sloppy reading by me, my bad!

If the opposing players manage to elbow him by moving their elbow a centimeter then sure. Of course McDavid won’t be stupid enough to skate into them unlike your guy.
Well, according to that goofy flash dude, McDavid needs to be throwing elbows to protect himself from the big bad ... *checks notes* ... Marcus Johansson.

Ok there was no dive, that just didn't happen, mj got clipped pretty good and is out for a bit.

No way this was intentional, mj throws on the breaks at a strange and unfortunate time and McDavid clearly flinched in an instinctive move, this all happens incredibly fast, not great someone got injured but there I don't see anything suspension worthy and I am a wild fan.

The play where Draisaitl was already falling forward and was taken down by Hartman's skate moving six inches towards the puck between Leon's skates? Yeah, I'm shocked he hasn't gotten suspended for that clear intent to injure 🙄
You perfectly described a slew foot from a known dirt bag player

Which wild fans and which play? The slew foot is definitely Hartman going over the fence into dirty play and I've seen tons of wild fans that are tired of his shit. But the first one, are you talking about the play where Hartman and Bouchard collide right before getting to the puck in the previous game? That play happens tons of times throughout a game. It's called jockeying for position and happens almost every shift. Hell, even on the oilers nation tweet saying Hartman needs to be suspended for that hit you will find oilers fans saying Bouchard needs to be bracing for contact. That is simply ridiculous to compare to McDavid elbowing Johansson in the head.
It was a dirty shot into the post in a 7-1 game. Dude was just pissy that he got spanked and pitched a temper tantrum. Lots of Oilers fans don’t like Bouchard because he’s not physical and gives the puck away sometimes

It still looks like a deliberate fly-by elbow to the chin resulting in a concussion. No matter how subtle the movement or how barely he catches him.

Actually those are the worst ones for brains when you hit just the very tip of the chin. Very possible that Johansson was even out of it for a fraction of a second.

Anyway it's really hard to understand the victim blaming in this thread. It really is.

He totally chicken winged him on purpose.

McDavid stuck out his elbow enough that if he didn't, he wouldn't have hit him at all. And now that he did, he concussed with a hit over the chin. An exaggerated movement would only have made the refs notice it.
