Whats more impressive is , that this was Davers 90th anti McDavid Post this month for 9 consecutive months. An unbreakable record.Pretty impressive considering 90 points has only been reached 56 times in the last four seasons.
Still pisses me off we were robbed of Sid getting to 2,000It seems inevitable that McDavid will become the 2nd 2000 pts scorer in the NHL.
I'll remind you when Pettersson does it. I don't think the other three will get it doneYea lemme know when Huberdeau, Stamkos, Petterson or RNH do it 9 times in a row.
I think any hockey fan should want him to win at least 1 cup. Hate him or love him. I don't think people understand what kind of player we are seeing here in the moment. Truly amazing players, warts like any other. But could be our next 2,000 point player if all goes well. Not the biggest fan, his resume is really pretty awesome. Just needs a cup I hope he never gets.
Again I won’t begrudge him. Great player.
I’m being extremely petty. I hope he never does. But I’m sure I’m a small minority in this and I’m fine with thatI think any hockey fan should want him to win at least 1 cup. Hate him or love him. It would be a shame if he doesn't win one. I really don't care what team it's on. I mean like Lindros, least he made it to a finals and made it to game 7. But still.
It's like people not appreciating what OV is doing and about to make history.
While I do want him to win a cup, I don't think it should be held against him if he doesn't. His playoff resume speaks for itself, and I'm not even including his Conn Smythe. If McDavid never wins a cup, it won't because of any doing of his own, but the supporting cast around him.I think any hockey fan should want him to win at least 1 cup. Hate him or love him. I respect the honesty. Wish more posters were like this instead of hiding behind the guise of objectivity.I’m being extremely petty. I hope he never does. But I’m sure I’m a small minority in this and I’m fine with that
Weird how that has led to 0 championships in junior and the nhlHe needs 1 cup (likely adds a 2nd smythe) + 1 more ross/hart/lindsay to end clear 3rd all time for me
Its crazy how he is so absurdly godly at hockey when considering his physical traits aren't anything special from the surface level.
Absurd skating genes/bio, absurd IQ and brain/time processing which lets him control the game at his pace.
I didnt think Mcdavid would be this good back in 2015. His first two OHL seasins didnt point to this level if player at all. From age 17 onwards he just became unstoppable
Nobody had 90 consecutive 90 point seasons.
He didnt have Maxime Talbot scoring two goals in a low scoring game 7 for himWeird how that has led to 0 championships in junior and the nhl
Although a smart player, his hockey IQ falls a few degrees short of absurd. He needs 1 cup (likely adds a 2nd smythe) + 1 more ross/hart/lindsay to end clear 3rd all time for me

It’s unfortunate, but still an outside chance he hits it.Still pisses me off we were robbed of Sid getting to 2,000
Anyone who didnt watch pre lockout hockey and pretends Mcdavid isnt the best player they have seen play hockey is delusional.
Crosby let an 18 year old Mcdavid be a better player then him while only 28.Crosby was just as productive as him on a per game basis and anyone who can't figure out that it is easier to score now is delusional.
Crosby brings other attributes to his game that can reasonably be pointed to why he has won at every level of hockey he has ever played, and notably has lead Team Canada to its most successful run under his watch.

Hes a top 10 player all time sure, but he was a lot easier to shut down which is why he produced so poorly multiple times in the playoffs.
Mcdavid has been better hockey player than Crosby since 18 maybe even as a 17 year old tbhHe was 20, BTW.
Crosby was too busy winning Stanley and World Cups to worry about meaningless regular season games in April. He was leading him in PPG the whole year. Noone views a 20 year old or even a 21 year old McDavid as being better than Crosby. Many people would have still taken Crosby for a the playoffs until 2022.
It appears though that a 28 year old McDavid is letting a few players be better than him now.

His era was assHe was the best playoff performer of his era, period.
McDavid didn't show up until it was too late in his only SCF.
