Almost all of my home town went off to fight in the Great War, most of us not much older than boys. They dropped us on a beach in France to head straight into battle. I remember as soon as our boots hit sand, we all threw down our Springfields to engage the Jerrys spirited round of fisticuffs.Wouldn’t fighting his own battle be….fighting Garland? He cross checked him in the side of the head lol
So hmmmm. Next time McDavid holds or impedes someone. It's ok to crosscheck McDavid in the teeth?
Not sure if you need to know this or not but this is hockey and not war lmao if he wants to handle something he is capable of doing it without getting himself suspended.Almost all of my home town went off to fight in the Great War, most of us not much older than boys. It's funny. He learned that lesson the hard way in Junior when he injured himself throwing a punch.lol at the notion that 97 needs to fight anyone, ever.
By that logic Bouchard deserved the crosscheck from Meyers. Because Bouchard fouled him earlier in the shift? If Mcdavid fully wrestles someone to the ground and holds him there like a WWE match and he is not penalized, I would 100% not be suprised if the person took it into his own hands are cross-checked him.
If the whistle is blown and player is penalized, it never gets to that point. Pretty easy logic if you take off the Mcdavid hate glasses.

The right call was McDavid for interference. After coughing up the puck with the empty net. 100% indisputable.Insinuating a hypothetical that he still cross checks Garland in the face even if the original hold was called is infinitely more absurd.
The right call is made, it doesnt boil over to this.

Arm up for a penalty while Garland interferes, whistle blown when McDavid punches the back of his head. Offsetting minors and carry on. Refs decided to ignore both and here we are.Oilers had the puck, so why would the refs have blown the whistle for a call on Garland? It's irrelevant to McDavids actions
41 pages? That's chicken feed. Morgan Reilly's pre and post suspension talk reached over 270 pages.
Thats called a hypothetical and also a "what if" What if the penalty was called....Thats not a fact, not provable and not 100%.Yes, if the penalty was called earlier, he doesnt crosscheck him in the face. That is not an absurd hypothetical, that is very basic, a to b logic. Sure, it is a slight projection but you acting as if its some illogical conclusion is baffling.
You insinuating that calling the original penalty doesnt stop the cross check is far more absurd.

Its an unprovable hypothetical like I said in the first post.
Its absurd this takes 5 posts for you to learn this.
This.Did I say Garland deserved to be crosschecked? All I said was that calling the foul beforehand, very likely results in no scrum, therefore no cross check. Same probably goes with Bouch too to be honest.
Nobody deserves to be cross checked in the face, but failing to properly officiate the game, almost always results in players in taking things into their own hands. Whistles blows on the initial grab, that cross check does not happen. I am not excusing Mcdavid, he shouldnt have lost his cool, but the refs blew that and lost control of the game.
The refs wouldn't have blown the whistle, but Skinner would have skated to the bench and the extra player would have come on the ice while Edmonton had possession and was pressuring offensively. That said, by the time the extra skater got into the play, there would probably be only 5 seconds left, maybe.Oilers had the puck, so why would the refs have blown the whistle for a call on Garland? It's irrelevant to McDavids actions
Given previous DoPS announcements, should be within the next hour or so?Still nothing?
Skinner was already on the bench. It was 6 on 5The refs wouldn't have blown the whistle, but Skinner would have skated to the bench and the extra player would have come on the ice while Edmonton had possession and was pressuring offensively. That said, by the time the extra skater got into the play, there would probably be only 5 seconds left, maybe.
Still, an extra player for up to 5 seconds is better than finishing the game 4 on 4 because McDavid is being bear hugged.
I hope this is satire.Connor should turn down the Four Nations after this, the league has never cared about his safety and now are actively singling him out for disciplinary action. Why let them keep profiting off him?
