Indrasis been poor the whole tournament

Our passes get intercepted too often, and they're not even learning from it. M.Redlihs looks so frantic with puck. It's like he's completely lost his skills.

Maybe, but I'd firstly say its mostly because of ****ing Sprukts. The last 2 WC's he's been ****, and it's only getting worse with each year. Put Girgs between Indrasis and M.Red and then lets see, how much skill the two have lost.

I wouldn't mind having Sprukts on the team, as long as he's the centre on 3rd line. It's pathetic, that we have so few quality centres to choose from..

We looked like a Division I team in the 1st period. If they continue playing like this, I honestly won't even be upset if we end up last in our group, we've earned it.

At least we'll get rid of Belavskis. But everything will remain the same in the federation.

Individually he still looks terrible. With or without Sprukts in the vicinity. This whole team looks pathetic and unmotivated. We can't put our hopes in one man - Girgensons.

It has nothing to do with this game or the tournament. He has always been recovering very slowly. :/

This game reminds of the game against Germany in a way. The Austrians have all the scoring chances, yet it's 1:1.

What a miserable, passive game from the Latvian team. Just ugly all around. I feel sorry for any Austrian fans reading this, as you have to beat Germany now to stay up in the Elite tier.

Totally deserved to lose this one.

Three players are literally carrying our team. ;D Other one deserve to play in Div1.

Daugavins didn't sign an extension with Moscow? right? Only Karsums did? Interesting where will he go..

On a more positive note - has anyone noticed how Daugaviņš has progressed? He was pretty much terrible after he left North America. NHL completely crushed his expectations, and he was falling into a deep pit of mediocrity. Now he's progressed.

I'd say this was the most forgettable victory in the history of Latvian hockey.
