Congrats, Norway. If I saw a chance against you this weekend it just got a lot smaller. Time for us to face great nations like Korea and Japan next year.

Can't wait for the Denmark game. Always tight and exciting to watch. You know you'd kick our ***** even before the game started if you had all your NHL'ers.

Barring an upset, like Slovakia beating Finland... or Norway losing to both Denmark and Slovenia... looks like the Belarus-Norway game on final day will probably be for QF spot.

Congrats Norway, big win!

So if they win how big of a win is this for Norway?

A big win. After a terrible start, we needed this. I hope Haugen starts the rest of the games. Im not happy With Our first and second line. They are to flashy. Nørstebø, Haugen and blocking shots wont save this team.

Booing anthems is not right. The booing group can't have been big, that house was full of slovaks and I didint hear it.

We suck, seriously, I had to force myself into watching, but as it was not enough, our ******** fans boo the anthem  What a ****ing wonderful evening.

Weren't too many people doing it. Just a few high pitched boos at the start of the anthem until they turned up the P.A in the building :D

I heard it, could've easily been a dozen of people, was just at the start of the anthem though so I think they booed their own team for loosing and not the anthem, still disrespectful either way

Only a handful of the fans boo'd. Slovak people are great in general. Been there many times, and the hospitality is great.

Most likely, however we also both knows that will probably never happen as long as WCH is in the beginning of may. It would be nice to settle the score once and for all with the two strongest teams. I enjoy the banter the two nations apart though. As long as you suck in football :D

Finnish football is so bad. We'd probably loss for North Korea. Every one plays hockey here I guess.. That's why this board is my heaven. Too much talk about football and moderator will delete it.

Finally, justice caught up to Slovaks.

Well, they were leading 2-0 and werent that bad. Then they screwed it. Needs to be said that this wasn't exactly any kind of clear justice or unjustice, just hockey game lost this tame.

Living in Denmark, I had to offer them "Norway always losing to Denmark in soccer" so I could keep the "Norway always defeating Denmark in hockey at WHC/Olympic qualifying games"... luckily (or sadly) I am the only hockey fan around where I live, so they don't object :P

What a game! I am really proud of our team today. Being 2-0 down and still fight back and win the game 2-3. But I am still pissed off by the fact that we didn’t score on the 5 minute major-powerplay I was fooking pissed off about that :banghead::banghead:

The last 10 minutes of the game was not good for my blood pressure that’s for sure!!
And Nørstebø! What a WC debut! Two important goals!

(PS: Not so classy from the Slovakian fans to make a lot of noise during the national anthem. But I understand their frustration and disappointment)

Not just that, but we didnt even try to score on that PP. Lazy, slow and arrogant!!!

The key difference is, we will still easily qualify to quarters.

Unlike you.

You sound really bitter for Slovaks.

Btw Patrick Thoresen is the only adult I know that grows taller and taller every year. A few years ago he was 180 cm, in SKA he is listed 182 cm and in this WHC he is 183 cm. Keep growing Thoresen. You will become Our Chara.

Sadly Copenhagen has never been a hockeytown. The potential is there with a various selection of clubs in the suburbs, but somehow it never really catches fire. The momentum was there in the early 90's where Rødovre had its last big phase, but it died out in a couple of years because of lack of political will to build a new arena. That is pretty much hockey history in a nutshell in Denmark.
