Well, we are done with the three by far toughest teams, so 0 was expected. But they better improve their play when they meet the "weaker" teams.
Definitely. Even if the final score was 5-0, it didn't feel like a dominating victory. However, I still think getting those goals ("opening the ketchup bottle") - especially on the PP - will help us a lot in the coming games. Gotta be happy about the defensive game and another shutout though.I'm still not convinced, Norway stayed along until their most played units started to get tired in the third period and that's when the first 5on5 goals came. A couple of giftwrapped PPs as well, the game could have easily been "only" a 2-0 victory, which is inexcusable against a clearly weaker opponent.
Barkov's line was the only one that managed to get sustained pressure in the Norwegian end 5on5, which is quite sad compared to the zone time they had in our end.
Come on, that's a little brutal don't you thinkThats Our backup goalie, but even Our best goalie couldnt save this crappy team. No system, no Identity. Just a bunch of scared pigs.
Slovakia should be harder than the Finns. They got far more support. Its almost like a home game to them. Mursak and Kopitar will destroy Our lousy defense. The danes will take revenge and boom we are relegated.
I misread that post at first too. What he is getting at is that after the slovakia game the guys of slovenia will also have their watKopitar is from Slovenia, so I highly doubt he'll make an impact for Slovakia. Slovakia is the favorite, bur they've had close games vs both Denmark and Belarus which isn't truly a statement of them being that much better than us. But we need to step up big time.
